Kitten-Ka-Boodles, AKA: Boodles. The
late Boodles was our first cat as a couple. She had
already adopted Steve, but when I came along, she
decided I could stay also. |

Smokey and Missy. We went to the animal
shelter in search of ONE kitten. When we got there we
saw a cage by itself with two adult cats wrapped around
each other inside. Steve looked at me and I said,
"We'd have to take both of them." Thus,
Smokey and Missy became part of our
family. |

When Smokey was diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer in August 2002, we decided to let the vet try to surgically remove it. The tumor was a large lump on his shoulder...but in order to make sure she got it all, our vet had to take a large amount of tissue and skin around it. This is the result. The blue strip around "Franken-kitty's" neck is a band holding on a morphine patch. As of February 2003, he appears to be doing well, although now that his fur has grown back, his colors don't quite match up any more. |
